Japan Airlines reports huge loss

I have chosen an article which handles about the huge losses Japan Airlines has had the last months. The airline announced a loss of 177.9 bn yen, and apologized to their shareholders, creditors and customers.
Japan Airlines is under court supervision since they entered bankruptcy protection last month. Now the company is undergoing a major restricting which means they have to cut in their destinations, crew and amount of airplanes. They have to do all these measures to attempt to make Japan Airlines profitable again. They explain that they are working very hard to make their company profitable again, but they still want to provide a safe and stable flight and good services to their customers. Japan Airlines is one of the most high-profile airlines to fall victim under the pressure of the global recession.
I think it is unbelievable that a large company as Japan Airlines can suffer due to the global recession, and collapses under the pressure. Which started in the sector of real-estate. It is also really strange that their debts multiplied nine times before they asked for help. But it is very good that there is a thing like bankruptcy protection. A lot of companies have used it in the recession. GM, for example has used it and now they are making profit again.
